INIA's National R & D & I Areas seek the development of research and innovation of excellence that achieves significant impacts on the production of sustainable agri-food systems, of relevance and relevance for the national and global market, as well as for the advancement of the society.
INIA has five National Areas:
- Sustainable Agrosystems
- Future Foods
- Animal production
- Vegetable Production
- Extension and training of capacities, transversal to all the work of the institution.
Under this new structure, within each national area there are specialty groups that are made up of Researchers and Extensionists.
